The List – 2011
Stop being a little girl! Everyone has ups and downs throughout their lives. Nevertheless, I had my ups and downs. I appreciate what had happened and who were those by my side when I needed a hug, No, nobody gave me a hug when they were sober. Great friends are those who will enjoy life together with you and NEVER ever take advantage of you.
Let’s get started with Ups! This year I bought the things that I’ve always dreamed of. Things that I will buy with my own money. Never thought I would land myself a banking job and that makes me banker for HSBC Bank, Canada. AWESOME job!!!
- HTC ChaCha (still awesome though many people criticized it)
- Nikon D5100 (my friend Antonio The Magnificent is in it!)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (I abandoned my laptop for this)

This is the replacement for all my cameras!
Sushi Q With Bloggers & Antonio
I, Adrian Leong, was at the Sushi Q’s newest outlet – Publika in Solaris Dutamas. Surprisingly, my first time to go to Publika but it wasn’t difficult to find at all. It was the event for 5 Lucky Bloggers invited for Food Tasting. That’s right!! Food tasting of sushi!! Event started at 3pm and I met famous bloggers Ericleeh, CarolineMayLing, Melissa Newton and Nor Elwyn. Oh, and Antonio, my close friend was there too!
Sushi Q is a great place for foodies and sushi lovers who crave for wide variety of fresh sushi on the go. Ever imagine why you have to wait in the queue to get a seat just for sushi? Question no more! Here at Sushi Q – it is very convenient for foodies to have their sushi at their peace of mind because, it is almost instant. Fresh sushi on the go! Save time and reasonable price for such great and fresh sushi at all time! I know… I had a lot of salmon that day.. *burp*.
Japanese fast food and self service concept save our foodies’ time on waiting. Wide variety of delectable colorful rainbows of sushi, handmade rolls, salads, maki (I’ll show you this later), and more more mochi to choose from! I shouldn’t write so much here. I’ll show you the photos I took with my new toy, Nikon D5100.

This was my first meal of the day. Japanese Salad as appetizer!! Good for starter

I was eye-ing on this and showed my puppy eyes attack to the outlet manager...
Namewee & AdrianLeong, At Nasi Lemak 2.0 Premiere Screening
Yup! That’s right! I was there to attend the Nasi Lemak 2.0 Gala Premiere Screening with Namewee, the director, scriptwriter, music director and actor of the movie!! Thanks to Henry aka clevermunkey for the privileged invitations. It was an awesome movie from Malaysia!! Well done, Namewee!!
I met many bloggers at the event, namely, Henry, Kianfai, Eric Lee, Caroline, Jiayeen, Yeeing, Tony Teh, PeiYi, Kelvin, Ryan, Jayren and many more!!! I can’t name them all. But of course, I met my sister, Reiko and her darling Samantha at the Gala. Didn’t want to put my Exilim S10 camera into shame, I chose to post only the nicest photos I got by myself. Also, I recorded a video. My apology if the video is not clear. I didn’t get to buy the Lumix G3 yet.

AdrianLeong meets Namewee in person!!

The cutest blogging couple I've ever seen. Hehe!

Eric never look into my camera direction. Haha!

I think most bloggers are camera shy when I take photos of them

Haha!! I had no idea why I did that with the spoon.

Can you name all the bloggers in here?????

Nasi Lemak 2.0 Premiere Screening Movie Pass!!

It is a comedic inspiring movie to all Malaysians!! Recommended for everyone!!

Eric always felt contented after he took a shot with his camera!

The hosts of the event, truly Malaysians' movie. NOT racist.

Everyone was waiting for Namewee!!!!

Bloggers waiting for generous photographer to help to take group photos

Did I say it was just one camera? Haha! Answer : 12 Cameras
Overall, the movie was awesome!! Ratings as followed:
- My perception of it as local movie : 10/10
- My perception of it as regular movie : 9/10
It was very inspiring movie! Namewee did not use a single cent from the government and this movie was funded by generous Malaysian businessman and local producer. It may not be as great as other movie like Inception or Transformers, but this movie is particularly made for Malaysian and it is WORTH TO WATCH it at least once or twice!
It was very funny! Cantonese, Mandarin, Malay, English, Tamil and Hokkien languages mixed up. Subtitles for all races and native language speakers. Lots of local/international celebrities in the movie. Must go and support this movie!! Oh, got Namewee’s new songs in it too!! Thanks Namewee for making this movie!

Humble Namewee is very shy. He voiced it out for all of us!
That’s all for now! Till then, looking forward to watch the movie again once it is out on 8th of September 2011.
Happy Child,
AL
PS. I had my best Sunday ever!!!!!!!!
Sunday Of Peace
For the past 2 months, I’ve been rarely met up with any of my friends in the neighborhood. Thought I am an abandoned child. Well, it is! But I didn’t care much as I have awesome SVP 12 and Canadian bankers at the workplace, also the always hilarious and fun – bloggers/twitterers I met over the years!!!
Last Sunday night was an intensive badminton match between Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei at London’s Wembley. I wasn’t against any Malaysians that night. Please don’t get me wrong. I supported Lin Dan – it was purely because of his stamina and characteristic in the game. Lin Dan was able to play a cool game without breaking a sweat. I was sure that it was his game. To all of my friends who had a dispute with me because of that I had a different opinion, well, you are immature. Grow up please.
After the game, I met up with Kian Fai, Eric Lee and CarolineMayLing at Meeples, SS15, Subang Jaya!

The Panic Tower game!! Requirement: Steady hands
We played several games for an hour before we called it a wrap. I think the price is alright, RM5 for an hour of board game (not bored game). 99% of the games, you never heard of it before. Nevertheless, the rules were simple and the games were easy to play. May continue to play the same game over and over again or change to another one! First time experience at such cafe, I think it’s awesome!!
Two great photos to share today.

It is Strawberry Dessert my mom made! It's AWESOME~~ but no name.

My first time to have seafood bak kut teh with my family on Sunday morning! In Klang!!!
I don’t remember where was the restaurant to eat this seafood bak kut teh. However, here’s the fun fact. The mythical seafood bak kut teh may look like regular bak kut teh we can find in town. But this, particularly – have additional ingredients which more than just fish. You may have squid, crab, sea fungus, prawns and other seafood you can think of. No, seahorse is not food!
I’m sorry for this late posting. I’ve reached my upload limit in Flickr and Photobucket recently. No idea where else to upload my photos. Created a page for myself on Facebook. Will try to utilize the free photo hosting service on Facebook. Till then, please feel free to watch my videos! I like to make videos now!!
Mind-Blogger,
AL
PS. I need more time to sleep on the weekends!!! But I still love my job! Hehe
Magic With Bloggers
When I was just a freshman in blogging community, I used to blog about many topics. Mainly are those supernatural and unusual/weird events. One of my proudest topic was Magic. For you have not know, I am a magician and occasionally I will make some videos to be posted on my YouTube Channel. Because the amateur self-recording video was such a hit, I decided to share my joy and excitement with my fellow bloggers/twitterers.
By the end of last year. Erika, the Awesome Teacher, came to Kuala Lumpur from Johor, to hang out with us and celebrate Caroline‘s birthday at Sky Bar, Hotel Traders. I was late for 20 minutes as it was my first time there. It was such a great night and we had much fun! For I had shown them several magic at the bar, I saved the finale for Caroline – her future birthday present.
