5. At every outing, topics to talk about, Blog, Photography, Job, Events, Food and Movies
6. Taking photos with mobile phone is not cool, even if they don’t say that to you. Feel it

I kept my promise that I will draft a blog post about bloggers. No, this is definitely not for everyone to read. Some agree and some don’t. I never care about that. For your information, this is not prepared out of frustration but I thought this will allow some bloggers to be more self-conscious when they become celebrity or so.

Lastly, if you are a blogger – please try to draft more quality post like you used to be when you first started blogging. Now you are full of crap. Seriously.

Having that said, last Friday morning, my family members and I – except my grandma (we lied to her which I feel terribly bad it is for her own good just yet), went to my family’s new business venture in Food&Beverage.  It was located in Setia Alam. The cafe is called ‘My Cafe’. Yes… I still feel bad about the lie, seriously… nobody else feel bad like I do? Damn~

Been waiting for it's Grand Opening for more than 2 months!!

Honestly speaking, I had no idea that my family was investing in this business which I was the last one to know in my family. Second from last if you include my grandma. We sat down and greeted by the Head Chef. I felt great to know none of my family members are cooking there and I don’t think anyone of us will be there often. The Head Chef is a great local chef who is gifted in cookery. Not any immigrants cook! That’s important.

Oh, Sarah Low, my best friend/sister (Female) was there with my family. She returned from New Zealand after 7 months of hibernating there. It was my first time seeing her after such long time. There were 5 of us and we got 4 dishes (2 plates of yam cake) and one drink each, barely able to finish them all – Damage @ RM21.00. That’s really cheap and portion is so huge that it is better that you order one plate at a time.

I’m not a food blogger and I don’t really like to do food review. It’s my own family business, no point to tell you the fairy tales. It is best that you go there, try it out yourself!

PS. Random question, for guys – did you get teabagged (hand held your testicles) when you receive your BCG injection when you were young? My colleagues were debating on this matter with me. I said “NO”. What is your answer?

I keep my awesomeness elevated everyday by staying awesome. Duh! Child-like side of me will occasionally shows up when my favorite cartoon character of all time comes to life. DORAEMON!!! Still have the comics collection, merchandise and stickers all over my room, reason is – I rarely clean up my room otherwise it will be in one corner for admiration.

There will be a Doraemon Exhibition in Genting Highland this month. Only RM38 per adult ticket for one-time entry. Bought the early bird ticket, so I can claim the TouchNGo card with pre-loaded RM5 in it!! I can’t help it but to purchase one.

Here’s the sad thing about this event. There will be many wonderful attractions at the event but NO PROFESSIONAL CAMERAs allowed! I think they won’t let my amateur Nikon D5100 to see Doraemon. Will have to dig out my antique camera from the closet. But I will still have my mobile phone, HTC ChaCha with me. Not so bad. Oh, my sister-in-law and brother will be there with me. Haha! She is another avid fan of Doraemon. Hope to see other friends there too!

PS. I have yet to buy any Chinese New Year clothes but I have so many things to pay up! Gahhh!

Nevertheless, I would strike up the chance to take more photos from time to time with my family and whenever I go out with bloggers and friends. Not good at taking photos of people yet. The lighting, background, settings for human portraits are kind of complicated than I expected. Prefer to take photos of the nature.

Not sure how my brother got this portrait but it caught my attention. It appeared to be an ordinary painted portrait on a block. If you would put a little bit of effort to squeeze it into the frame of the viewfinder, the result will be extraordinary..

I love photography very much! I may not be professional but I will try my best to share the stories of my subjects through my lens. It is uncommon for me to share photos of my family members over my blog but soon I will introduce them one by one. Now, I do feel that I have a family at home.

Let’s get started with Ups! This year I bought the things that I’ve always dreamed of. Things that I will buy with my own money. Never thought I would land myself a banking job and that makes me banker for HSBC Bank, Canada. AWESOME job!!!

Downs…Downs, I wish I could never talk about this. Well, I kinda laid off, lazy and missed my chances to meet new friends – girlfriends. Yeah. Thought I would regret but after some time later, found out the girls were dating other losers… I smiled and felt proud, I’m still AWESOME!! Hey, it’s okay to be single kay.

I just hope that my mom will not sound at me. Ironically, my mom is my friend on Facebook, she is a huge fan of this blog. Cool huh!

Sorry.. you should get a drink now or at least a bowl of miso soup as side refreshment. Here at Sushi Q, hot drinks like my hot green tea, served in a special paper cup that looked so artistic caught my attention. The unique design of the paper cup made it slip-free, easy to hold and minimize the contact of the skin with the hot drink in it, hence, I had no problem holding it for hours walking around the mall after the meal.

Note: These paper cups are more expensive than the unreliable plastic cups. but Sushi Q has the passion to protect the environment and support recycling in its own way.

The unique shaped handrolls are the specialty of Sushi Q. Not in cone shape but cylinder shape. Reason is that – easy to hold, grab and eat it on the spot. There are 18 types of handrolls available to choose from. Namely, soft shell crab, crispy chicken, fresh prawn, spicy salmon, smoked duck, and chicken teriyaki to name a few.

I personally chose to eat sushi at Sushi Q because the environment is really nice and relaxing. Unlike other places, noisy and kids running around. Sushi served here are all fresh. Some of you may know that I’m allergic to non fresh prawns, will get swollen lips and itchy tongue. I had a lot of prawns at Sushi Q and I felt absolutely fine. Freshness is never an issue here. Highly Recommended.

Overall, the movie was awesome!! Ratings as followed:

• My perception of it as local movie : 10/10
• My perception of it as regular movie : 9/10

It was very inspiring movie! Namewee did not use a single cent from the government and this movie was funded by generous Malaysian businessman and local producer. It may not be as great as other movie like Inception or Transformers, but this movie is particularly made for Malaysian and it is WORTH TO WATCH it at least once or twice!

It was very funny! Cantonese, Mandarin, Malay, English, Tamil and Hokkien languages mixed up. Subtitles for all races and native language speakers. Lots of local/international celebrities in the movie. Must go and support this movie!! Oh, got Namewee’s new songs in it too!! Thanks Namewee for making this movie!

Humble Namewee is very shy. He voiced it out for all of us!

PS. I had my best Sunday ever!!!!!!!!

Last Sunday night was an intensive badminton match between Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei at London’s Wembley. I wasn’t against any Malaysians that night. Please don’t get me wrong. I supported Lin Dan – it was purely because of his stamina and characteristic in the game. Lin Dan was able to play a cool game without breaking a sweat. I was sure that it was his game. To all of my friends who had a dispute with me because of that I had a different opinion, well, you are immature. Grow up please.

After the game, I met up with Kian Fai, Eric Lee and CarolineMayLing at Meeples, SS15, Subang Jaya!

The Panic Tower game!! Requirement: Steady hands

We played several games for an hour before we called it a wrap. I think the price is alright, RM5 for an hour of board game (not bored game). 99% of the games, you never heard of it before. Nevertheless, the rules were simple and the games were easy to play. May continue to play the same game over and over again or change to another one! First time experience at such cafe, I think it’s awesome!!

I don’t remember where was the restaurant to eat this seafood bak kut teh. However, here’s the fun fact. The mythical seafood bak kut teh may look like regular bak kut teh we can find in town. But this, particularly – have additional ingredients which more than just fish. You may have squid, crab, sea fungus, prawns and other seafood you can think of. No, seahorse is not food!

By the end of last year. Erika, the Awesome Teacher, came to Kuala Lumpur from Johor, to hang out with us and celebrate Caroline‘s birthday at Sky Bar, Hotel Traders. I was late for 20 minutes as it was my first time there. It was such a great night and we had much fun! For I had shown them several magic at the bar, I saved the finale for Caroline – her future birthday present.

How was it? I find it better than my previous uploaded videos. I was reluctant to upload this video for more than half a year for I found that this video had too much background noise and I had no solution. No more splitting or missing clips. the video was made without any cut scenes so viewer will get to experience the magic show just like the live audiences (bloggers/twitterers) in the video.

There were missing bloggers/twitterers who could not make it that night. They are Foong PC, Submerryn, iamwitch, and Lionel Saucer. The other live audiences in the video are Grey Ang and QuaChee aka cameraman. I Love hanging out with them all. Very friendly people and inspiring! Everyone has their own profession and specialty. But all of us share the most common thing – Blogging and Tweeting!!
