Thank you for everyone’s concern. Most of you may not know but my laptop had betrayed me and died for the past 4 days. Hence, no laptop, not working. Been 4 days without blogging or communicating with the outside world via internet. Feeling bad for not able to bring the best entertainment on time to everyone today.

Now that I got myself a new laptop.. Still I’ve lost plenty of my files in the old junk. Will upload new magic video, EPISODE 7 tomorrow. I wish that I can make a new video by today but this (new laptop), the ATI driver is not working like it supposed to be. Nothing much I can do about it..

Lastly, I would like to thank my family members and friends for being so supportive towards my work and my fans, without you guys.. I will not keep running this site. Just stay tuned, tomorrow will be our big day!!

Please don’t tell me about Monday! Friday was a great day as there was no work to do and I got myself to SJBA to donate blood. Like every year, the weather got hotter and hotter but that didn’t stop me from giving something back to the community. I may not be as great as philanthropists.. least I’m trying.. while not denying other people’s imperfection.

I went for the FREE medical check-up. The result was – I’m now finally at my normal weight after losing 4kg in 2 months time. WHAT?!?! And.. and.. I still have my high blood pressure! Thought I already been really relaxed at home. Can’t help it, probably because – Never mind =D

Reached at SJ, parked my car after illegal turn on the road

Met my high school senior at SJBA, he was a volunteer!

Point where the needle pierced through my skin and got my blood

Felt so GOOD after blood donation. Then I was invited to have the vegetarian meal at the courtyard next to the SJBA. It was good too! Not many people that I know of were there, most of them gone to overseas for further studies. But people were eye-ing on me when I walked pass them.. I wonder what was on their mind.. =/ I don’t know them.

Anyway, make your own opportunity to help your neighbor, this one big family, the people around you – those who need help, you can make a difference in their very lives.

Make a change, Make that change.

Quick!! Say, “Thank God!! It’s Friday (TGIF)!!”. Happy Wesak Day for those who celebrating such wonderful day! Those who are working today.. stare at your own boss now. Will be going to Subang Jaya Buddhist Association to donate my sweet blood for those who need it more than my mosquitoes. I may not be a religious devotee of any kind but I hope that I can make a change for other’s future.

Reminded me of Romeo&Juliet, Assassin Creed, Spiderman..

Last night – I had a wonderful moment with fellow bloggers at the Prince Of Persia, The Sands Of Time movie screening at e@Curve. I met famous and great bloggers such as Henry, Krazygal3, BabeBaboon, Jiayeen, Jayleo and many other bloggers whom I not able to recall. I just started blogging not long ago, please pardon me. The movie was good, 7.5/10 from me. I like the graphics and the humor but not very much of the actions and the kissing..

I was very excited to meet so many bloggers at one place! Of course, they caught me at the ticketing counter and as promised, I performed a magic show for them. You guys have been great audiences and friends to me. I felt happy and proud to be able to bring magicAL moments for everyone! All I can say is THANK YOU and really hope that we can meet up again sometime like a gathering or so =)

Cassie (the girl who went to the screening with me), is NOT my girlfriend. Haha!! Will see you guys again soon =)

Was It Miracle OR WAS IT MAGIC?

Miracles, Magic both had been performed and talked about since centuries ago. Dated back to the day, when your God did some miracles on Earth – made humans and other living organisms (and non living organisms). If you are unsure, go read your Bible again or simply Google.

Nevertheless, magic too being practiced as a cult ritual to ‘deceive‘ people to join the Cult Club or religion (not anymore now). If you’re offended, you may stop reading now. Magic was being used by mediums so they can be claimed to have supernatural powers like their magicAL gawd. It may be for the sake of the people or it could be simply for the money.. Here, the good example – judge it yourself;

Of course, humans don’t resurrect from dead bodies or FLY!! I think I answered your questions, humans DO NOT fly at all cost! There could be black magic (not because of the skin color) but NO evidence to prove that it even exist. I never once discover miracles in my research of paranormal/supernatural activities.. only unexplainable situations like ghosts. If we can all walk on water, it won’t be a miracle anymore, right?

Stop yourself from falling into any hypocrites’ prey out there, who tells you that they can heal your cancer, sex addiction or stuff like that. Go see doctor if you’re not feeling well or get some rest. It’s good to be religious/spiritual, BUT DON’T EVER BE NAIVE. Your God wants your LOVE, not Money – only con men do.

Miracles are for us to witness that Magic exists as our entertainment

With the effort of protecting our Mother Earth (Gaia) by reducing wastage and support recycle, I’ve decided to perform a magic which involves outdated magazines that can be found in most homes. The magazines not only serve as our information provider but waste matter without recycling.

Please recycle or sell the outdated magazine to protect our Mother Earth!

I would like to express my gratitude to those are concern about my health condition. NO worries, I’m fine. Only that I’ve been such a workaholic to suffer back pain after extensive hours of sitting on the chair or standing. Lack of sleep too. Will definitely get some rest after this. Incredible Illusion And Egg Into Glass Bottle Trick

It’s Saturday so I would like to share some interesting videos I found in the social networking site.. alright, Facebook! This is an awesome video of illusion created by Koukichi Sugihara. Why he did that, for the best illusion contest of course. Nah, not magic BUT the illusion won the BEST Illusion of 2010. Worth to find out what it is;

Explanation collected from YouTube. Because it was too scientific for me to explain. Argh..

In this video, wooden balls roll up the slopes just as if they are pulled by a magnet. The behavior of the balls seems impossible, because it is against the gravity. The video is NOT a computer graphic, but a real scene. What is actually happening is that the orientations of the slopes are perceived oppositely, and hence the descending motion is misinterpreted as ascending motion. This illusion is remarkable in that it is generated by a three-dimensional solid object and physical motion, instead of a two-dimensional picture.

For those who are bored on weekend like I am now, you can try doing the following trick. Why you do that, because it’s simply fun! By the way, do it at your own risk. Someone might just stop you from doing it. Probably your mother-in-law or the owner of the egg (with revenge).

In case you didn’t know, the egg’s shell was peeled off. It won’t work with a hard boiled egg with SHELL (not petrol station) still wrapped around . I haven’t try it yet but it’s possible. Simply too busy with my magic stuff that ongoing now.

Quite a number of magic props been made out of trash recently. Will put them on the test to make sure it works great. Guess what, I’ll test them on the field, with random strangers.. =D So much fun! Well, enjoy your weekend! Forget about your manic Monday.

How To ELIMINATE Your Stage Fright, Without Magic

First of all, I did NOT become a magician in an overnight success. Took me years of practice and learning, to get me standing where I am now. I may able to perform good magic/illusion.. but I had a fear (first year, 2002) of stage fright. It was scary, embarrassing, nervous, heart beats insanely fast!

If you’re a student, professional, manager or someone needs to stand out and speak to thousands of people.. you’re at the right place to eliminate your stage fright. You need to know what are the elements or matters that cause you to have stage fright. The most commons are;

  • Camera shy
  • Afraid of not able to perform well
  • Lost of words
  • Dissatisfied audiences (those who always boooo… at people)
  • May be part of the series of unfortunate events of the day

For those who are camera shy, you should take photos of yourself or with your friends more often. Make sure you do more funny/weird faces along the way, that will helps you to maintain your smile without showing your awkward expression on stage when flashes came. Take a video too – I was a bit shy of posting my videos online but the well received response kept me doing it =D

Practice makes perfect. If you’ve practiced enough, you should be able to pull it through. Trust me! It’s not rocket science and you probably done something even more embarrassing during your elementary school. For bad audiences and chances of losing (eating) your own words, get a piece of paper and write down a few lines of short jokes or punchline. Use them to buy you sometime to think what you’ve missed out earlier =)

Try reverse psychology or NEG the bad audiences. NEG means negative. Example: “Don’t make fun of yourself before me” or “Great, you guys just entertained me, it’s awesome“. There won’t be PART 2 of unfortunate events.. if you think it will come true, it will! The Law Of Attraction! So STOP thinking about it! I hope these few short guidelines can be helpful. It helped me a lot back in the days..

Anyway, I’ve found the last piece of newspaper cut out. The handicapped home which located at Old Town PJ, visited by the Leos/Lions Clubs and I was there to help out. Also to put up a magic show for the folks;

Today Filmed The Magic Show For Wednesday Release!

Last week – my friend John came to me and said that he needed me to help him out on a talent quest. He wanted to win the competition very much (Champion – RM6000) and I decided to lend a hand. John didn’t want to sing or dance, magic would be the best choice to be outstanding. The preliminary round, I taught him the torn and restore newspaper illusion.

Last night – John told me that he won the first round. Next round would commence in a week or 2. I will then teach him the quick change (change clothes under speed of light). I don’t want to miss this opportunity to show it to everyone, I will perform it personally for John’s understanding and your entertainment right here =) But be patient until Wednesday.

Several updates here;

  1. CIMB rejected my first video submission which intended to be viewed publicly in their branches. Because the quality no good enough. (It’s home video, what to expect!) But I’ll make new one.
  2. A footwear company had finally approved me to perform magic with their products. Might be my sponsor for my TV show if it turns out good.
  3. I’ve contacted a coffee cafe company to allow me hosting a small gathering for my fans, bloggers and friends. Free drinks provided!!
  4. A contest will be on the run starting next week, more information will be post here.
  5. I lost my shaver!!!! Need one badly..
  6. Expect more and more magic shows here as I created quite a number of routines and illusions.

What more can I say.. AdrianLeong.com has been doing so good because of more than thousand of viewers and support! Great Thank you for everyone! I’m planning something big for this year..

Allow Me To Teach You A Simple Magic Here

That’s right!! I’m going to teach you a simple magic trick which you can impress your friends and family, especially your mom (it’s Mothers’ Day). It’s a pretty cool trick which falls under the category of Mentalism, also known as Mental Magic or mind reading. You don’t have to be a psychic to know what’s on their mind..

I’ll let this be as simple as possible for you. NO, this is not the usual common magic trick you can find.

  • Think of a number from 1 – 9
  • Multiply it with number 2
  • Add it with number 5
  • Multiply it with number 5
  • (To make it difficult for me to read your mind) Think of another number from 1 – 9 and add into the total
  • Then you should be able to know your final result.

If you’re going to impress someone with this trick, ask them to tell you the final result of the equation. Then you subtract the number (final result) with 25, of course – you need to do this in your head! Example: 89 – 25 = 64.

6 will be the first number of the person thought of, and 4 will be the last number. Is it correct to you? =) If you don’t understand, comment here and I’ll explain more in details. To make this effect awesome, make sure you don’t use any devices to calculate. Just act cool and experience how other people get amazed by you!
